Reviews / Press

I would like to thank everyone at Droplink Studios for all their hard work and dedication to making my debut album, 4 days and 40 years, a success.  With Hunter St. Marie’s amazing guitar and drum work, Lacey Morgan’s stunning vocal performance on ‘The Strong and the Proud’, and with Josh’s incredible engineering, producing, and mastering abilities, the finished product was beyond my expectations.  Thank you again for providing me with an album that I’m proud of and which will surely help move my musical career to places I could have only dreamed of.

Dead Earth Politics began work on the CD in March of 2008 and were thrilled to enlist the help of Josh Woodhouse of Droplink Productions on the record’s production. I’m confident in saying that our sound is distinct within Heavy Metal America and this record absolutely shows the development of a signature for us.  But we retained the raw aspects and Josh captured not only the D.I.Y. attitude and feel, but many of the epic and grand aspects that we aimed for!

-Ven Scott, Dead Earth Politics vocalist (official PR for the release of The Weight of Poseidon – Feb. 16th 2010)

Working with Josh at Droplink Productions was an outstanding experience. I have quite a high demand for quality, work ethic, and production value, and Josh was able to exceed my expectations on all levels. The quality of the finished product fit perfectly with my project and I was impressed with how he was able to match location sound with studio sound in a seamless fashion, a nod to Josh’s technical understanding. My project would not have been complete without working with Droplink Productions and the work ethic Josh exuded puts him at the top of his class. I would recommend Josh to any individual, group, or company looking for great audio production work.

Josh Woodhouse is the mastering engineer for my latest CD, ‘Keeping It Salty.’ He also helped me with the artwork design and the duplication. He is an all in one shop for your CD production, mastering, duplication, and artwork. It was cool to work with him. If you want to work with Josh Woodhouse for your next CD, I definitely recommend him.

In time, through his balance of great engineering and business skills, Josh will inevitably become one of Austin’s best engineers.
